Jian ware is produced in Jianyang, Fujian, and is the pinnacle of black-glazed porcelain in the Song Dynasty, flourishing due to the "tea competition" culture. Its body has a high iron content, presenting an "iron body" texture, and the glaze surface naturally transforms at high temperatures, forming unique patterns such as rabbit hair, oil spots, and iridescent spots, as gorgeous as the universe and the Milky Way. Jian ware is not only the "tea competition artifact" used by Emperor Song Huizong but also the unique "Black Peony" among tea vessels due to its unreplicable nature of "one color in the kiln, ten thousand colors out of the kiln".
